had a fantastic time at this family-owned agriturismo in tuoro sul trasimeno. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and took us on a tour of their olive groves. the pool was amazing, and we enjoyed having it all to ourselves. a perfect base for exploring umbria and tuscany with great road connections.
No entertainment options in the area.

We are familly with three small kids and we loved the stay at Il Piratello. Playground across the street only few meters away. Appartments are in very quiet and peaceful village only few minutes away from lake. Great price.
Expensive (40 eur) and obligatory cleaning service expense at the end of stay. In our case shower hardly deserved the name as there was almost no water pouring out. Broken bidet.

Very quite location, a car is a must. No entertainment in the area. This hotel is perfect as a base to visit some of the best attractions in Umbria. Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Orvieto, Siena are all between 30 minutes to 1 hour 15 miutes drive away. Lovely pool which we had to ourselves most days. Only drawback to this rustic farmhouse apartments is the flys and insects. It is on the edge of town so I guess you might expect this. We would choose somewhere in a bigger town next time. Purely for places to go for a meal in the evening. Otherwise fine although basic accomodation. Pool is a welcome bonus.
